Play is essential to children's healthy development. With the success of its Play Works Campaign for Kids, a $1.5 million capital fundraising campaign, the Museum will help more children – especially those most in need – enjoy the life-enhancing learning that comes from good old-fashioned play.

Together – as individuals/families and businesses – we can:

• Promote the benefits of play for all children and families
• Increase Museum capacity to serve record numbers
• Help the Museum secure a prestigious $150,000 Kresge Challenge award
• Play a part in the building of two new learning environments scheduled to open in June 2010.

Underland

An imaginative underground world filled with roots, tunnels and critters' burrows will add play value and a new perspective to the Museum's Children's Garden.

The Climber

A unique, custom-designed Climber will become a Providence landmark and an unparalleled play experience.
