PlayWatch is a community discussion listserv, launched in July 2009, that was inspired by lively conversations that followed screenings of the film "Where Do the Children Play?" presented by Providence Children's Museum. From those discussions, it was apparent that many people are concerned about the lack of time and space for children's play – and that they're eager to keep talking! These important conversations have continued through the listserv, which provides a way to share information, articles, resources, events and more – including ideas about what we, as a community, can do to safeguard children's play. Join the conversation! Share what you're thinking or reading about, what you'd like to see or make happen, what's going on in your community – or your backyard! Click here to sign up for the listserv or to view the archives. Click here to learn more about play and other helpful resources.
